When did you arrive at the Northern Warehouse? Arrived at NWAC September, 2003. How has the Northern Warehouse helped you as an artist? I now have room to coach actors and do more directing. What project(s) are you currently working on? Directing 2 Fringe Festival shows and will be shooting the role of "Dr. Sander" in "THE COMPLETELY REMARKABLE UTTERLY FABULOUS TRANSFORMATION OF A REGULAR JOE" June 2006, Short film screening of Anne Sorenson's Columbia University Thesis Film "TEST TUBE" late summer/early fall--I played the role of "Cheryl". What would be your ideal project? To see the short film I've written produced and shot and in festivals all over the world (I would, of course, direct too!). Who or what inspires you creatively? I am inspired by short independent films and by my students. Who are your favorite living artists? Meryl Streep, Susan Sarandon, Steve Buscemi, Edward Norton. What's your fantasy art trip? A week in Cannes at the film festival! A week at Sundance! Anything else you would like people to know about you? I have been performing professionally for over 25 years. I am a member of the Screen Actors Guild and AFTRA. Fun jobs--recurring role on the daytime drama "Passions" and a Starfleet officer on "Enterprise" the last in the series of StarTrek television shows starring Scott Bakula. I know it's cliché, but "what I REALLY want to do is DIRECT." I love acting, but have found teaching and directing to be extremely rewarding. It is so great to bring out the best in an actor and to help him/her find their true talent. I own and run IN THE MOMENT, an acting studio where I work with actors at all skill levels.
