Membership Information

We are a self governing artist cooperative, who collectively rent the top 4 floors of the Northern Warehouse with units serving as both work space and living space. Members of the co-op elect a board of directors, select chair people for committees, and participate in the running of co-op affairs.

Perennial Management, LLC serves as our site manager, maintaining office hours and processing our occupancy agreements and background checks. Artspace is the company that renovated the Northern Warehouse for occupancy and has done so for many properties around the country. They are not the same entity as our co-op, they are who we rent our 4 floors from.

Expectations of Membership

Members are required to participate in the co-op for an minimum of 4 hours per month. The duties performed are different for everyone, and members have the ability to choose how they participate. This can be anything from cleaning the laundry room to putting up fliers for Art Crawl events to simply attending our monthly co-op meetings. Getting hours is easy, but does require leg work to find out what needs to be done and what is considered co-op work. For a more detailed look expectations of a member, please look through the provided handbook below, or contact a member of our board of directors.
